Job Function

Summary: This is a hybrid position that is in-office Monday and Tuesday with a remote option for all remaining workdays.

VHI is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Health Information Technology (HIT) team. The Program Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient program operations. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing communications, maintaining records and assisting with project tasks. The Program Coordinator will work closely with other program staff and stakeholders to support successful program implementation and administration. Key responsibilities of the Program Coordinator include serving as a point of contact for program participants; supporting project deliverables; facilitating meetings; receiving, reviewing and maintaining program documents and administering email support.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact and first level of help-desk support for current and/or prospective program participants.
  • Manage email communications via the program inbox.
  • Maintain program documents and records, ensuring information is complete, accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with preparation for program demonstrations and advisory meetings.
  • Coordinate various user/participant meetings.
  • Assist with operational projects as assigned.
  • Document the onboarding process for new program participants from beginning to go live/full implementation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Program Manager as needed.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience providing operational/program support (within healthcare setting is a plus) or relevant post-secondary education
  • Highly organized, precise and detail oriented
  • Ability to quickly shift gears, adapt to a changing and evolving environment and juggle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
  • Comfortable executing administrative tasks such as scheduling and maintaining correspondence with stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Proficiency in Monday.com or similar project management software is a plus

Starting Salary Ranges (based on experience

$50,000 - $60,000 per annum. VHI offers a highly competitive benefits package on par with public and governmental entities.
