VIRGINIA HEALTH INFORMATION DONATES OVER 150 POUNDS OF FOOD TO FEED MORE FOR THANKSGIVING SEASON
During the month of November, Virginia Health Information teamed up with Pop's Market on Grace to host a Thanksgiving food drive to benefit Feed More, Central-Virginia's core hunger-relief organization. Over 150 pounds of food was collected and donated to Feed More, who will prepare and distribute the food to neighbors in over 34 counties and cities.
One in eight adults and one in seven children in Central Virginia struggle with hunger, according to Feed More. VHI thanks Pop's Market on Grace and community donors for participating in the food drive and helping make a positive impact in our community this holiday season.
In addition to the food drive, VHI celebrated the upcoming holiday by hosting a Friendsgiving event for employees. VHI hopes you and your family had a fun and safe holiday!
