Medicaid

Medicaid is a joint federal and state program that provides medical assistance to certain individuals with low incomes and limited assets.

Benefits provided to eligible individuals are standard hospital and physician services, nursing home care, outpatient prescription drugs, and, in some cases, home or assisted-living facility care.
