VIRGINIA HEALTH INFORMATION'S RESPONSE TO COVID-19

VHI is closely monitoring the current news of COVID-19 and its impact on our community. Although VHI works closely with the Virginia Department of Health, we do not have access to information regarding reports of COVID-19 in the Commonwealth. 

For up-to-date information regarding COVID-19, we suggest referring to: 

• The Virginia Department of Health 
• Virginia Governor Ralph Northam
• The Center for Disease Control and Prevention
• The World Health Organization

We believe everyone can play an important role in decreasing the spread of germs by following these simple steps (per recommendation from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention):

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
• Practice Social Distancing
